Arc
Category: Browser
Arc is my main browser on desktop and mobile. I moved over from a mix between Safari and Chrome because it makes browsing feel more organised.
Most browsers eventually become a long row of tabs, windows, and searches. Finding the right page takes more effort than it should.
Arc structures that chaos. It feels closer to tools I already use, like Raycast, Alfred, and Notion, where I can access whatever I need through the command bar or shortcut. The less I need to use my trackpad, the better.
I use Spaces to separate different areas of my life and work, making it easier to switch context without unrelated tabs competing for attention. Pinned tabs highlight the pages I use daily, and the command bar lets me jump to pages, settings, and actions from the keyboard.
The features I use most:
- Spaces & Pinned Tabs: For keeping contexts separate and daily pages accessible.
- The Command Bar & Custom Shortcuts: To access pages faster.
- Little Arc, Split View, and Tidy Tabs: For quick viewing and organisation.
Arc is still just a browser. It opens websites like every other browser. What I enjoy most is that it feels designed around access and organisation rather than tab management, which makes search feel faster and more intentional.
